Emma Marlow was born in Essex in the late 80's, but thankfully moved to Cambridge before she had a chance to develop a penchant for fake tan or highly-patterned trousers. Instead, she grew up with an interest in philosophy, theology and psychology.

When she's not cleaning up after her boisterous infant, burning her husband's dinner or eating rich tea biscuits, Emma likes to read. It was her voracious love of reading which spurred her to begin writing her own stories, and she is now a full-time writer. When she isn't sitting down, she enjoys rock climbing, rowing, queuing (she's British, after all) and reading whilst standing up. A lover of the great classics, modern-day romances, thrillers, mysteries and historical non-fiction, she is a literary hussy - as reflected in her own writing.
